After receipt of capital, company setup is possible within a few days. Three to four weeks are needed for third parties to become legally effective. Setup costs for limited companies vary depending on basic capital and expenditure. They are higher than with private companies/partnerships, though they should be set in proportion to tax advantages. Fees for setup of a share company or a limited company (GmbH) are 7.500 € up to 10.000 € (costs of preliminary audit, certification, registration, publication and Vallerton Marketing incorporation support*). In addition, there is stamp duty amounting to 1% of the basic capital, with the first one million being tax exempt.
